Assignment
Assignment: Create a Basic Wireframe
Required Preparation:
Review the feedback you received from your classmates and consider any user-centered suggestions that may strengthen your app concept. Revise your app concept as needed before creating your wireframes. Refining ideas based on feedback is an important part of the design process and will help you create a stronger wireframe.
Review the wireframe demonstration video: Creating basic wireframes
In this assignment, you will transform your app concept into a visual wireframe. A wireframe serves as a blueprint for your application and helps communicate screen layout, navigation, and user flow before visual design begins.
Using paper, PowerPoint, Canva, Figma, Google Drawings, or another wireframing tool:
-
Create three connected screens for your app.
-
Include labels identifying major interface elements.
-
Show how users move from one screen to another.
-
Include arrows or annotations that demonstrate navigation.
-
Ensure the wireframes align with the app concept you developed in Module 2.
Submit:
-
Three connected wireframe screens.
-
A brief explanation (100–150 words) describing:
-
Your target user.
-
The purpose of the screens.
-
The user flow is represented in your wireframe.
-
Submission Guidelines
-
Upload as PDF, PNG, JPG, PowerPoint, or shared link.
-
Wireframes may be hand-drawn or created digitally.
-
All three screens must be connected through a clear navigation path.
-
Include your written explanation with your submission.
